What current Members have to say about the Association:
"Essex Tourism has been working in partnership with ETA since its establishment in 1993 by Essex County Council. The Association is the vital lynch-pin between its membership, local government bodies, and other tourism related businesses throughout the County. By offering support in many areas of the industry, it has become a well-known, active organisation that aids the promotion of tourism in Essex, and helps to maintain a high profile for the County"
Elli Constantatou, Marketing, PR and Tourism Manager, Essex County Council
"Membership to the ETA has proven to be invaluable. Their promotion campaigns and PR activities have helped us to see an improvement in visitor and group bookings, whilst attendance at the Tourism & leisure Show is a wonderful opportunity for us to widen and develop our visitor database, and meet other tourist attractions".
Marilyn Bullivant, Combined Military Services Museum, Maldon
"We have been member of ETA since its formation. We have found the networking and training opportunities offer great sources of information, and the publicity and awareness gained via the website and mobile displays, to be invaluable. The Association has certainly aided us in our growth".
David Evans, General Manager, Barleylands, Billericay
"The ETA gives us strong representation within the Tourism industry, and is always there to provide help and support. The chance for us to network with other accommodation providers, subsidised training opportunities and great websites are a bonus!"
Jim Gallie, Proprietor, Frasers Guest Accommodation, Battlesbridge
And don't forget, if you are already an ETA Member and recommend somebody else, then you get half price membership for the forthcoming year and so do they!
